​Currently, I work in the role of Resource Development Coordinator at Stratford House of Blessing.  Stratford House of Blessing is primarily a food bank with a number of wrap-around programs. This position involves all levels of fundraising, media communications, community presentations, grant writing and reporting, and raising awareness about hunger and poverty in our community.

I am passionate about people and improving people's lives.  Prior to working in the non-profit industry I was a special education teacher.  I embraced opportunities to advocate for the needs of my students so that they had the tools, resources and empowerment they needed for success.

I continued to grow as an individual and returned to school in the area of website design and development to engage my logical and creative sides.  Combining my passion for people with the power of digital communications allowed me to share the stories of people and the agencies that support them.  I continue to look for opportunities to learn and grow.
